With this special edition of the EFRJ Newsflash, we would like to draw your attention on our summer events that will bring us together in 2017!
EFRJ SUMMER SCHOOL 2017 REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN!!!
We are happy to announce that REGISTRATIONS to the EFRJ Summer Shool 2017 are NOW OPEN!!! This year we have been invited to organise our biannualSummer School in the beautiful cloister of St. Abbondio, hosted by the RJ research centre of the University of Insubria (24-28 July, Como - Italy). The training will include theory and practice on the use of RJ for cases of serious crimes. Soon, we will announce the names of our trainers, two experienced practitioners from Belgium and the UK. Don't miss this opportunity to attend the EFRJ Summer School 2017: limited places are available! The EFRJ will review the applications received on a rolling basis in order to fill the 30 places available for this edition of the Summer School. Early-bird fee apply until 30 April.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE SUMMER COURSES SAVE THE DATES!!!
The three organisations that form the Criminal Justice Platform Europe (EuroPris, EFRJ and CEP) are launching a NEW EVENT in Barcelona on 4-7 July 2017, theInternational Criminal Justice Summer Courses. The Courses will addressDesistance, Radicalisation and Engagement of offenders to change in a 4-days programme with three parallel workshops and plenary sessions. The Summer Courses aim at inspiring new thinking and cross-fertilization for practitioners from prisons, probation and restorative justice. If you are a practitioner, researcher or run a criminal justice organization: SAVE THE DATE! Registrations will be opened on 1st March. Early-bird until 15 April.
SEMINAR ON RJ AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Every second year, the EFRJ Annual General Meeting is followed by an experts seminar open to a wider public than the EFRJ membership. This year both events will take place in Berlin on 1-2 June. More information will come soon on the EFRJ website! We highly recommend members of the EFRJ to join this AGM since it will include important discussions about changes in the EFRJ Constitution. If you are not yet part of the EFRJ community, you can find here all information about the EFRJ membership for individuals and organisations.
